A safe and effective amount of weight loss is 1% of your body weight per week, or 1-2 pounds. This can be achieved by cutting approximately 250 calories from your diet and increasing your physical activity to burn 250 extra calories per day. Your health and fitness training program will help you burn those calories, build strength and endurance, and increase the time you spend exercising to burn more calories per day.
For optimum weight loss, you and your trainer will ensure you are eating enough of the right foods. If you are not eating often enough, weight loss will be much more difficult and even unsafe.
As you begin to lose weight and get toned, you will gain lean muscle tissue. This lean tissue makes you look and feel healthier, it makes your clothes fit better and it makes your body a fat-burning machine.
Your personal trainer at RC Training will work with you to modify your eating habits for optimal results. If nutrition and fat loss are included in your goals, we will monitor your eating habits with food journaling and modifications over a 4 week period. Additional charges may apply if more monitoring is necessary.
